The KYORIN Pharmaceutical entered the environmental hygiene business in 2011, focusing on the increasing importance of daily infection prevention at medical institutions and the like and the belief that we should contribute to medical needs and health through the control of environmental infection. Looking ahead, we aim to contribute to the control of various types of infection risk and are engaged in the development of environmental hygiene and activities to disseminate it further.

Multi-purpose Disinfectant Cleaner RUBYSTA

In 2012, Kyorin launched the disinfectant cleaner RUBYSTA aimed at controlling the risk of infections in healthcare environments. We have since enhanced our product lineup and promote the widespread use of our products, while also focusing on obtaining scientific evaluation data at medial institutions and research facilities.

Enhancement of Product Lineup of Hand Sanitizers

In 2017, Kyorin enhanced its product lineup of hand sanitizers by adding a further seven hand-sanitizer products to the alcohol-free hand-sanitizer Noahtect and TRINITYLINE Hand Care Treatment for dry skin via the conclusion of a sales alliance agreement with Air Liquide Japan, Ltd. We plan to fully promote the hand sanitizers to help improve the rate of hand hygiene compliance, which is crucial for fighting healthcare-associated infections.

Milton brand

Since its launch, the disinfectant Milton has assisted mothers hoping for the healthy growth of their babies. As the leading brand of baby bottle disinfectant, it has maintained stable sales, backed by many consumers as well as medical professionals. In 2016, we launched a new product “Detergent Milton,” which can be used to clean baby bottles, milkers and vegetables, under the concept of creating hygienic environments for babies. Looking ahead, the Kyorin Group will provide information across a wide area about the awareness of assured disinfectant methods in addition to the importance of disinfecting in advance to enable the display of assured disinfectant effects. We will also deliver the Milton brand message of “unchanging safety into the future.”
